Referendum on the UK`s Membership of the EU - New Survey to find the views of German business in theReferendum on the UK`s Membership of the EU - New Survey to find the views of German business in the - Added 13th July 2015
As you will know, the Referendum is a priority for the new Conservative Government elected on 7 May 2015.  The Prime Minister is now re-negotiating the UK`s relationship with the EU.  He wants a reformed EU.  Afterwards, he will ask the British people to decide whether to remain in the EU or to leave.
We asked a number of German companies about their views in early 2013 when we were not sure if the Referendum would take place.  We now know that the Referendum will take place and wanted to present the views of all of German business in the UK to the Prime Minister.
Thank you very much to all of you who responded, please view our Press Release below dated 9 July which took all your comments into account. The Press Release was sent to the British and German media and also with a letter to the Prime Minister, Chancellor of the Exchequer, Secretary of State for Business, Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Minister for the Cabinet Office and Minister of State for Europe.
There were articles in some 27 national and regional newspapers across the UK, 3 of which can be found under the Press Release section.
